Suzie Dahl: Suzie Dahl has
been an instructor at Mauris for five dance seasons. She graduated
from Winona State University in 1999 with a Bachelors Degree in
Fine Arts and a minor in dance. Suzie continues her lifelong learning
in dance by taking every opportunity to participate in master classes,
workshops, and conventions. Robyn Ramos: A dancer at Mauris School of Dance since 1976 with a competitive background in dance, gymnastics and pageants. She has a first degree black belt in karate and works out regularly at the local gym. Robyn has taught at Mauris for fifteen years. She teaches tap, jazz, ballet, and training kick line. Her dance education includes 28 years of classes, workshops, and competitions with Joe Rowan, Gus Giordano, and many more well known dance performers and choreographers. Molly Radanke: Molly began her dance training with Mauris School of Dance in 1982. Her dance background includes tap, jazz, lyric, and kick line. While studying dance she has participated in company, kick line, and enjoyed competitive dancing. Molly is proud to be on staff this year teaching combination classes of all ages. She is a full-time customer service agent for Aramark Refreshment Services and holds a degree in Office Administration. Molly thoroughly enjoys working with kids and remembers her love of dance that she felt at a young age. Judy Saaski-Emerson: Instilled with a love of dance by her first teacher, Judy's dance training includes ballet, tap, and jazz, studying with a wide variety of artists. She has trained with the Minnesota Dance Theater, Zenon School of Dance and participated in the Guthrie Theater's Outreach program. Her choreographic background includes musical theater and swing choir for the Bloomington School District, most notably spending 17 years choreographing choirs for James Bontrager of Kennedy Senior High School and recently working with the Burnsville Senior High School choir. Although Judy has performed professionally, her main focus has always been on dance education, owning her own dance studio for 19 years. She retired her business in 2000 to spend more time with her family. Participation in the Dakota County Vocational Mentorship Program soon led to joining the staff at Mauri's. She finds it very rewarding to share her knowledge with each special student. "The students at Mauri's have a wonderful atmosphere in which to nurture and grow as dancers and people. Mauri believes in providing dancers with the necessary tools to help them achieve their goals in dance and real life!" said Saaski-Emerson. Judy is proud to work with people who care. Patti Schroeder: Patti Schroeder is a graduate from Arizona State University where she was captain of the dance line. She received her masters degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She performed with the United States Football Leagues Arizona Wrangler/Outlaws. Patti has danced in Arizona, Texas, Nevada, California, and New York. She taught dance and gymnastics at a studio in Phoenix for ten years before moving to Minnesota. Patti is currently a teacher in the Burnsville School District. This is Patti's third season with Mauri's. Jennifer Skarie: Jennifer has been dancing since 1985 (Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Kick Line and Jazz Funk). Throughout her dance career she has been a student teacher and assistant teacher for 5 of those years. She has also performed and participated in many community events. In 1995 she married and became a full time teacher in 1996. In 1997 she and her husband moved to Colorado where she continued to teach at Spotlight Performing Arts Academy in Littleton until 2002. Her two children were born in Colorado in 1997 and 1998. Jennifer and her family moved back to Minnesota in 2003 to be in closer proximity with their families. Jennifer continues to teach and thoroughly enjoys working with the students. |
